When you’re unemployed, you can’t claim disability benefits because it’s not recognised as a disability.
But when you qualify for social security payments, you’ll still need to prove that you have the disability.
This means you’ll need to fill out a form to prove your disability.
And you need to get a doctor’s certificate.
To qualify for disability, you need a diagnosis of a “serious physical or mental impairment”.
